Designing the Honor Wall for the new, state-of-the-art Romeoville Police Station was an incredible opportunity to create a piece that reflects both tradition and the building's modern style.
Tasked with ensuring the installation complemented the sleek architectural design of the building, I carefully selected materials - wood, acrylic, and metal - to create a sophisticated and meaningful tribute. My scale drawing/mockup, created in Illustrator, showcases how each element comes together to honor the service and dedication of the officers while seamlessly integrating with the station’s contemporary aesthetic (pictured below). I sourced vendors for the creation and installation, as well as the ongoing engraving needs.
This project was a balance of form and function, designed to stand as a lasting symbol of respect and recognition within the community.
